AAP's Atishi Wants 72-Hour Ban On Gautam Gambhir For Poll Code Violations

NEW DELHI: Aam Aadmi Party's East Delhi competitor Atishi on Sunday kept in touch with the Returning Officer of the body electorate to bar her opponent, BJP's Gautam Gambhir, from crusading for 72 hours and furthermore register a grievance against him for rehashed infringement of the model set of accepted rules. 

In her letter, Ms Atishi said the cricketer-turned government official had disregarded the survey code twice in the previous three days. "I ask to document my formal grumbling against Gambhir for holding a rally at 9.30 a.m. on April 28 in Dilshad Garden with no consent from the Election Commission. The rally by him is an infringement of the survey code," she composed. 


As indicated by the AAP pioneer, however the Election Commission requested a grumbling against Mr Gambhir for his first infringement, it "appears to have had no impact on him and he proceeds to unyieldingly damage the code appearing utter negligence for the EC."
